Dance4Fun

Each year we offer every one of our dancers the opportunity to perform on stage in a professional show. The venue for this changes each year. Parent costs are kept to a minimum, whilst ensuring our dancers have amazing costumes to wear. Our shows are always a lot of fun, and dancers always make lots of new friends! ​

Our next dance school show will be JUNE 2026

We offer IDTA examinations in ballet and tap disciplines. Everyone progresses at their own pace, so dancers are only entered for an examination when they are ready. We pride ourselves on a 100% pass rate, and our dancers always score highly. Our Tap scores are particularly impressive with 100% of dancers achieving distinction.

We are always looking for opportunities to take our dancers to perform in prestigious theatres across the UK. So far, we have performed at Blackpool Opera House, Sadler's Wells Theatre in London and The Lowry, Salford. We have also taken some of our dancers to perform at Alton Towers during the SCAREFEST weekend. In August 2024, we took some of our dancers and their families to Disneyland Paris - our BIGGEST performance to date!

In November 2025 we will be performing back in London at Saddler's Wells theatre.

In March 2026 we will be performing at Palace Theatre Manchester - a first at this venue!

We like to offer social events to encourage our Dance4Fun family (dancers, parents and wider families) to get closer. To date, we have offered had a D4F Family Night, given the opportunity to take part in a Bubble Rush for Charity, as well as hosted pool parties and a movie night. Around Christmas, we offer the chance for dancers to get involved in a Secret Santa gift exchange, and we get together end of year party. We also have themed weeks for events such as Halloween where dancers wear fancy dress and learn a themed dance. Our most recent social event was in June 2025 when we hired exclusive use of the roller skating rink - so much fun!

Each year we offer all the dancers in our streetdance and cheerleading classes the opportunity to compete against others in local events. Our dancers always show our support to one another and other schools, and just enjoy performing to a crowd. If we come away with a trophy, then even better!​

Every few years we offer Cheerleading Camps for our teams with Tez Shackleton from the British Cheerleading Association. These camps are always funded by Dance4Fun, with parents only contributing a very small fee. The cheerleaders wear their professional kits (also funded by Dance4Fun), and enjoy learning new stunts/dances.
